#12 πππ SPRING WARDROBE EDITION, WOMEN'S DAY, CHLOΓ AND SOME TIPS
Dear reader, I'd like to start by apologising for my absence last week. I was ill for a while and had to spend more time looking after myself.
I have used the last few days to immerse myself in Paris Fashion Week, one of my most eagerly awaited events, and to organise my diary.
Inspired by the excitement, I'll be giving you a few tips on how to refresh your spring wardrobe and my take on the ChloΓ© show, styled by Chemena Kamali.
At the end of the newsletter, you'll find some tips on how to enjoy your weekend and some fashion and home inspiration.
β¨β¨ A DAY TO REMIND YOURSELF HOW BIG F* AWESOME YOU ARE
I apologise for the title, which is perhaps too strong for your vocabulary, but I can't think of a more impactful way of bringing you to look at yourself.
I wish you a Happy Women's Day, and that today you can take the integrity of your personal values and the incredible woman I'm sure you are!
When you look at yourself in the mirror, look at yourself from the inside out and reflect on how strong you have been on your life journey so far. I imagine that, like me, you've had times when you thought you couldn't cope, but you did!
Embrace yourself and give yourself the same love and care that you give to your relationships, your work and your home. You deserve to be your own biggest fan!
MY IMPRESSIONS ABOUT CHLOΓ CATWALK AT PARIS FASHION WEEK
Chemena Kamali elegantly paid homage to Phoebe Philo's codes, bringing to life platform sandals and fun accessories in fruit shapes such as pineapple and banana, as well as the Karl Lagerfeld era between 1977 and 1979, when he launched the Musketeers collection with embroidered lace and broderie anglaise.Β
Chemena called the collection "Intuition". Because the way she sees "dressing" evokes a feeling that is personal, light and fun. It's about dressing practically and feeling good about it.Β
I'm so proud to see a woman in the position of stylist at such an important label as Chloe, which is usually a man's world. At ChloΓ©βs Maison, we see that Chemena designs for real women, for real life.

Despite the transparency, ruffles and lace that characterise the boho style, Chemena has managed to make each element of the collection a gift to the modern woman who is not caricatured in her personal style, who likes to dress well, who is confident in her body and who is terrified of uncomfortable clothes.Β
You know when you wear a dress and you feel uncomfortable sitting down and getting up because you are afraid of showing a part of your body? Chemena doesn't want that and neither do I.Β
Fashion trends should be incorporated into our personal style and lifestyle, not the other way around.Β
I can see that this is a collection that is effortlessly taken to the streets.Β
The elegant leather jackets, the earthy tones, the semi-sheer mousseline fabric and perhaps even the wood-heeled platform sandal should be embraced by women who value comfort with romance and sophistication.

SPRING WARDROBE ESSENTIALS
I'm really looking forward to the arrival of spring as it may bring with it sunny days, open skies and a little warmth to brighten up our British climate.
Perhaps, like some of my clients, you're wondering what's worth having in your wardrobe for the season, and how to combine winter and spring pieces in a wardrobe that's transitioning into summer.
I want to help you bring out the best version of yourself, so I've come up with a few tips that you might find useful, whatever your personal style is.
MIDI LENGTH
I think it's ideal for skirts and dresses, as the midi length allows you to combine the garment with winter footwear, such as boots, loafers and trainers, with spring footwear, which can be the same as winter footwear or some flats, such as trainers and sandals, and tops such as cardigans, jumpers, a basic white T-shirt or a dress shirt.

Combined with a mid-season trench coat of the same length, you'll have a look that's elongated and harmonious in proportion. The same goes if you combine it with winter coats.
See how cool it is to have a midi skirt in your wardrobe?
WINTER UPPER PIECES
As I mentioned in the spoiler above, your winter cardigans and jumpers will look great with linen, cotton or twill skirts.
Styling tip: wear your cardigan open under a ribbed top and your jumper tucked under your shoulders when wearing a white tricolour shirt. This modern and simple way of wearing winter pieces will make your look more current and interesting because it contains fashion information.

BAGS WITH A TEXTURE THAT EVOKES THE SUMMER IN PUGLIA, ITALY
Yes, I was quite literal with that subtitle, but the bag that goes to Puglia is the same one that can go to the flower market, Portobello Market or be part of your weekend travel bag.
Made from natural materials like straw, the bags have a special place in my heart and wardrobe. I love the freshness that they bring and the authorial touch to our style.

I think it's so elegant to use a straw bag like the French do for their errands, you know? I could be wrong, but I don't see that culture here in London or the UK in general.
Let's create a community of women who are committed to wearing beach bags on ordinary days?
With my Wardrobe Editing Consultation, you will learn how to combine your transition looks into your personal style and receive a dossier with images and tips for each look we create together.
As well as making dressing more practical and intuitive (as Chemena imagined for the ChloΓ© collection), you will gain confidence and self-esteem for different social situations.
And, of course, all this in a fun, enjoyable and cosy experience that is my style consultancy.
It may not be a statement of style, but the click is a step in the fashion direction:

β¨ I can picture this remi console table in the entrance corridor of my flat.
β¨If you're passionate about art and have a limited budget, like me, this fair taking place in London this weekend might interest you. Pieces of art from Β£50.
β¨A spring coat that goes from work to leisure effortlessly.
β¨ I've started a new series on Instagram about what people are wearing. Real people, dressed for real routines. It's worth checking out and getting inspired.
